Niall Quinn has admitted he would have loved to have seen manager Dick Advocaat stay at former club Sunderland, but thinks Sam Allardyce would be a perfect replacement.
Advocaat took over on March 17 after Gus Poyet was sacked and guided the club to Premier League safety thanks to a 0-0 draw at Arsenal in the penultimate game of the season.
